Further to the completion of Swindon Borough Council’s Community Governance Review, Swindonians have today been voting for who will run the various new parishes throughout the town.
Early indications were the vote will be over quite quickly as the turnout has been low in some areas with many complaining they knew nothing about todays election.
Arriving at the Oasis Leisure Centre this evening though that early thought was put to bed, a lot earlier than us here, with expectations of a 3am finish at best!
Did you get out and vote today? What are your thoughts on the Parish elections? Let us know in the comments section below or over on our Facebook page.
