Residents and business in West Swindon are being urged to keep their windows closed after a gas leak was been reported in the Blagrove area.
A fire service spokesman said: “The leak involves a gas main, so there is a strong smell of gas in the local area, which may be an issue for people with existing respiratory problems.”
Motorists are being advised to expect delays as part of Great Western Way is closed whilst the leak is investigated.
