Swindon Town Secures Season-Long Loan Deal for Forward Zach Elbouzedi

Swindon Town Football Club has this afternoon announced the signing of AIK forward Zach Elbouzedi on a season-long loan, pending approval from the EFL.

The 25-year-old started his professional career with Inverness Caledonian Thistle, following a three-year stint in the youth ranks of West Brom from 2014 to 2017. Elbouzedi’s early career highlights include being part of the Inverness side that clinched the Scottish Challenge Cup during the 2017–18 season.

Following his time with Inverness, the Dublin-born forward made a move to the League of Ireland side Waterford, where he showcased his skills by scoring six goals in 29 appearances. This impressive stint earned him a move to League One outfit Lincoln City in 2019, subsequently contributing to the squad’s success as they secured promotion in 2021.
