As report a few days ago there are some road works on major routes through town at the moment. Drivers should be aware that three areas are still affected.
Mead Way near the junction with Whitehill Way is undergoing a second phase of work as pipes are laid along the side of the route. This is planned to take place tomorrow and Wednesday and control of traffic will be subjected to two-way signal control.
Similarly Oxford Road near the Esso filling station will be subjected to stop and go board control of the traffic flow as Swindon Borough Council undertake gully emptying work between 09.30 and 15.00.
And finally, already in place and continuing until Wednesday, blockage clearance in Rodbourne near The Dolphin Pub will also cause delays with two way signals controlling the traffic flow.
All areas to be avoided if possible.
