Rainbows for NHS Nightingale

Last week children all over Swindon took time to paint rainbow pictures and hang them in their windows.

This we have moved on to pictures of the sunshine, what then should you do with the pictures of rainbows?

Your Holiday Starts Now

London Excel centre has been transformed into the new Nightingale hospital, and they want your drawings.

Nightingale hospital in London is open and ready to help the UK and NHS deal with the growing demand of coronavirus and they are looking for rainbows to decorate the place in order to keep all the patients smiling while they get over the virus.

So what exactly is it you need to do?

If you painted a rainbow last week, perfect. If not (or even if you did and fancy another go) it is time to get crafty!

On an A4 piece of paper, create your best, most colourful rainbows with messages of positivity for the staff and patients.

You can draw as many pictures as you want to.

If possible, pictures should be laminated, for germ purposes, but don’t worry if you don’t have access to a laminator, there are volunteers that will do this.

Where should I send my Nightingale rainbow picture?

All pictures from Swindon and the South West should be addresses to
