Swindonian’s will be able to enjoy a new programme of outdoor events at the Old Town Bowl this summer, designed to reassure visitors of a Covid-secure environment.
The programme of cultural and musical events will take place throughout July and August and are open to the whole family.
Friday 24th July – Sugar Motown
Saturday 25th July – DJ Cybernetic
Thursday 30th July – Rock the Tots
Sunday 2nd August – DJ Baila
Saturdays between 11am – 1pm will also see a number of family circus and street shows where visitors can expect to see juggling, rope walking, dare-devil acrobatics and finely-tuned tomfoolery performed around the bowl, moving about so you don’t have to!
The layout of the Old Town Bowl has been specifically designed to comply with current social distancing guidelines – it allows guests to move around the space without any awkward moments or bumping into others.
Safety measures include:
- Pre-positioned tables and chairs so that social distance guidelines can be adhered to – please don’t move them!
- Marked out easy-to-follow walkways
- Clearly roped-off area for each party
