Spring is finally in the air and that can only mean one thing; it is time to get your tickets for the Old Town Beer Festival, which again is being held at Christ Church in Old Town.
Come and visit the Iconic Old Town church at the ‘top of the hill’ on Friday 11th May and Saturday 12th May to sample some of the 40 different beers and 30 different ciders. The event will be ‘rolling out’ the first barrels at 6pm on the Friday evening through to 11pm and again on Saturday from 12 noon until 10pm.
The organisers wish to point out that they are immensely grateful to the main festival sponsors; Hop Inn and Los Gatos for their generous support. Chris Smith, organiser said ‘This year will see our biggest festival to date and we look forward to welcoming many hundreds to the iconic listed church and grounds’
Chris continued, ‘Our generous sponsors help to ensure that festival goers have the best possible experience over the two days’.
Tickets are now on sale for the following sessions;
- Friday 6pm-11pm £10, inc festival glass, brochure and free drink
- Saturday noon-10pm £10, inc festival glass, brochure and free drink
- Saturday 6pm-10pm £5, inc festival glass and brochure

And they haven’t forgotten food and are pleased to announce that they will be offering pies, burgers, hot dogs and pizza to tempt your palate all provided by some fantastic and very familiar Old Town names!
This year it is not only festival goers that benefit from a great event, but they have chosen to help Christian Aid and Threshold Housing through ticket sales, so as you can see there are many great reasons to come and join in the fun this year.
As is now the tradition they finish the leftover beer at the fantastic Beer and Hymns service on Sunday evening at 6:30pm, so please put that in the diary and help them to finish the beer, the free bar opens at 6pm.
