Hundreds of people from all across Swindon gathered to celebrate St George’s Day and enjoy the entertainment in Swindon’s Got Talent.
The Mayor of Swindon, Eric Shaw, Miss England Tourism Nicole Analise Cox and Di Powell from inSwindon Bid Company joined St George, the Dragon and the Britannia Majorettes in a procession from the Town Hall down towards the stage set up at Wharf Green where the talent show kicked off at 2pm.
Eight acts performed in the afternoon sunshine looking to win a spot performing at the annual Christmas light switch on and 10-year-old Masie Long from Wichelstowe danced her way to the top spot despite only dancing for one year.
Second spot went to Sophie Simpkins who on any other afternoon would have walked away with the top spot after belting out an Adele number perfectly with third place being handed to Kody Bowler and Reanna Nolan who sung and danced their hearts out.
