A popular local beauty and therapy school has recently been nominated for a prestigious business award.
The Wiltshire School of Beauty and Holistic Therapy (WSBHT) was established in 2008, and has just been shortlisted for the Guild Awards of Excellence 2017 for the best Holistic Training Provider. This is the 3rd time the school has been nominated, and they are up against stiff competition, with some of their competitors having 50 training venues across the country.
Tia Dowman, Principal and beauty lecturer, responded that she is delighted to have received such a high accolade, and that to be within the top 4 training schools within the UK is an incredible honour. The school has taught thousands of students, with some that have travelled as far from Scotland, Brazil, Germany, Portugal and even Trinidad!
Allie Maisey, who teaches holistic therapies and owns Eden Wellbeing(www.edenwellbeing.com) said that she feels that the school has achieved so highly due to all of the lecturers passion for their subjects, and the continual updating of their skills.
