A baby boy injured last week at an incident in Thresher Drive has sadly passed away at Bristol Royal Infirmary last Friday 31st March, Wiltshire Police have confirmed.
The boy was injured on 25th March and taken to Great Western Hospital before eventually being transferred to the Bristol Royal Infirmary.
Following the injury a 50 year old Swindon man was arrested for attempted murder and remains on conditional bail whilst the police continue their enquiries.
A post mortem is due to be carried out later this week to determine the cause of death.
