PC Hillier, from the Serious Youth Gang Violence and Burglary team, reiterated the force’s commitment to combating drug offences in Swindon and the surrounding areas. Speaking after the sentencing, he said: “We are dedicated to tackling drug dealing offences across the county and will prosecute those who contribute to the harm of our community, especially targeting vulnerable individuals who are drawn into consuming dangerous substances.”

The officer highlighted the importance of public cooperation in bringing such offenders to justice. “Our activity will be both overt and covert, but we rely on the public’s help to make Wiltshire a safer place,” PC Hillier continued. “Information from residents about drug supply offences plays a vital role in building intelligence, which can then lead to proactive investigations.”

Wiltshire Police are urging anyone with information regarding drug-related activities to contact them via the non-emergency number 101 or through the online reporting system available on their website.
