Swindon Housebuilder Celebrates Seventh Straight Year of Five-Star Customer Praise

A Swindon-based housebuilder has secured a glowing five-star rating for customer service — for the seventh consecutive year.

Redrow South West, which is active across 13 sites in the region including its development at Badbury Park, received the coveted rating from the Home Builders Federation (HBF) following the results of the National New Homes Customer Satisfaction Survey.

The independently conducted survey gathers feedback from thousands of new homeowners across the UK, and Redrow’s consistent excellence has once again been recognised, with over 95 per cent of its customers saying they would recommend the company to a friend.

The accolade puts Redrow in a select group of builders who continue to meet and exceed the ever-growing expectations of buyers, especially at a time when sustainable living, energy efficiency and customer care are firmly in the spotlight.

Among the many improvements introduced in recent years are Eco Electric homes, which feature air source heat pumps, underfloor heating and enhanced insulation. These properties have been designed not only to cut household bills but also to stay ahead of the government’s incoming ban on gas connections in new-builds from 2025.

Redrow’s customer satisfaction efforts were also recognised earlier this year when it picked up its second consecutive win in the Best Customer Satisfaction Initiative category at the 2024 Housebuilder Awards – further cementing its standing in the industry.

Speaking about the five-star award, Sian Smith, Sales Director at Redrow South West, said: “Our priority continues to be giving people a better way to live through the houses and locations they call home. We’re proud to have been named a five-star builder by the HBF for the seventh year, building on our previous industry-leading recognitions for our customer service.

“We’re always looking to improve how we support our customers – whether that’s through technical innovation or helping them reduce their running costs with energy-efficient homes. This award is testament to our team’s hard work and dedication.”

Neil Jefferson, Chief Executive of the HBF, added: “This year’s survey results highlight the industry’s absolute commitment to delivering high levels of customer service. Receiving such high scores based purely on homeowner feedback is a clear sign of trust. These results are a credit to the people working across the homebuilding sector – from the ground up.”

Redrow South West continues to develop across Wiltshire and beyond, with a strong focus on environmentally conscious builds and long-term satisfaction for homebuyers.
