A 21-year-old man who ran a Class A drug line in Swindon has been jailed after being caught attempting to restart his operation just a day after his first arrest.
Oskar Krzeszewski, of no fixed abode, was sentenced at Swindon Crown Court to 28 months in prison after admitting multiple offences, including the supply of crack cocaine and heroin, possession with intent to supply both substances, possessing two bladed articles in public, and holding criminal property.
The court heard how, on 25 April, officers stopped Krzeszewski’s vehicle in a proactive operation. Inside, they discovered an iPhone, two kitchen knives, two razor blades, a bag containing around 50 wraps of crack cocaine and heroin, designer clothing, and approximately £300 in cash.
He was released on bail while investigations continued, but intelligence later revealed that Krzeszewski had been operating a Class A drug line in the days before his arrest. On 17 May, police received information that a new drug line had been set up – and evidence showed it was launched on 26 April, just 24 hours after the initial arrest.
A further raid on 24 June at a property in May Close, Swindon, found Krzeszewski inside. Officers seized the SIM card linked to the new line, along with £5,500 in cash, numerous wraps of crack cocaine and heroin ready for street-level deals, larger quantities of the drugs in bulk, as well as weighing scales and packaging.
PC Aidan Hillier, from the Integrated Gangs Team, said: “Krzeszewski played a key role in supplying cocaine and heroin in Swindon. What stands out is the audacity of setting up a new line so soon after his first arrest.
“We know the devastation that Class A drugs bring – from the damage to users and their families, to the crimes linked to funding addictions. There is no place for this in Wiltshire, and we will continue to target those who bring these substances into our communities.”
