Swindon creative agency GEL Studios promotes two senior leaders

Swindon creative agency GEL Studios has strengthened its leadership team with the promotion of two long-serving members of staff as it enters the next stage of its growth plans.

David Golding has been appointed Head of Growth, while Lewis Moran becomes Head of Delivery, with both taking on senior leadership responsibilities as the employee-owned agency works towards its five-year growth strategy.

Golding will lead GEL Studios’ growth strategy, with responsibility for developing long-term relationships with clients and identifying new opportunities for the business.

His role will also involve strengthening strategic partnerships and ensuring the agency continues to work with organisations whose values and ambitions align with its own.

Moran, who has been with GEL Studios for five years, will oversee client delivery, helping shape strategies and ensuring the agency’s work is aligned with clients’ wider business objectives.

He will also lead the development of the agency’s people and processes, with a focus on building the skills and expertise of its teams as the marketing industry continues to change.

GEL Studios is a B Corp Certified creative agency working with small and medium-sized businesses. From its Swindon studio, its team of 17 in-house specialists provides branding, design, web and marketing services.

Golding said his promotion marked the next stage in the agency’s development.

“Our focus isn’t simply on growth but on partnering with businesses where we can create genuine, lasting impact,” he said.

“As we continue to grow, we’re becoming increasingly selective about the partnerships we build, ensuring there’s strong alignment in values, ambition and approach.”

Moran said his five years with the company had given him the opportunity to work alongside a team that had helped shape the agency.

“What excites me most about this role is the opportunity to help shape GEL Studios’ future,” he said.

“We have a clear vision, an exceptional team and strong foundations for growth. I’ll be focused on guiding the strategic direction and creating an environment where the team can continue to thrive and deliver meaningful results for our clients.”

The agency says its growth plans are intended to go hand in hand with its wider social and environmental aims, with the company looking to increase its positive impact in the community as the business expands.

The appointments come shortly after GEL Studios was shortlisted for the international Haier Zero Distance Excellence Awards, recognising businesses taking a people-focused approach to how they operate.
