Award-winning creative agency, GEL Studios, is celebrating its tenth anniversary this month, marking a decade of creating custom websites, stunning branding, and impactful marketing solutions.
GEL Studios collaborates with businesses nationwide to enhance their visibility, both online and offline, through a diverse range of marketing initiatives. Specialising in branding, website development, design, and marketing, the agency has established itself as a leader in the field.
Over the past few years, GEL Studios and its team of experts have experienced significant growth. In March, they moved to larger and improved studio spaces, heralding an exciting chapter for the agency.
Graeme Leighfield, the Managing Director, founded GEL Studios on June 13, 2013, operating from his spare bedroom. As the agency grew, it hired its first employee in 2015, transforming into a full-service agency and relocating to its first offices in Gemini House. Initially focusing on website design, development, and graphic design services, GEL Studios quickly gained momentum.
Driven by the desire to expand further, the company moved again in 2018, settling in South Marston Industrial Estate, where they occupied Unit 8 for four years. In 2021, they opened a second studio adjacent to their existing one, providing additional space for client meetings, welcoming prospects, and facilitating team collaborations.
During this period, GEL Studios not only expanded its physical premises but also diversified its service offerings. In 2021, they launched marketing services, including PPC advertising, social media management, SEO, and photography.
Having reached a full team of 10 employees and with ambitions for continued growth, GEL Studios took on an ambitious project under the guidance of Managing Director Graeme Leighfield. They renovated a 300-year-old farmhouse in South Marston, located a few doors away from their previous office. The state-of-the-art office project commenced in late February, and with the assistance of local tradespeople, GEL Studios opened the doors to its new headquarters on March 3rd, 2023.
This significant milestone in the company’s growth enables them to accommodate a larger clientele and expand their team further.
After ten years in business, GEL Studios aims to continue bringing their client’s visions to life while making positive contributions to the community, as they have done throughout the years.
Graeme Leighfield, the Managing Director, expressed his thoughts on this milestone:
“The past 10 years have been equally filled with high and low moments. Running a business is not easy, even more so in an industry where things change on a daily basis!
“I’ve tried to build GEL Studios with a focus on the people, the products, and the positive impact we make. Because of this vision, growing the business in a sustainable way has been a key cornerstone of mine. “As we move into the next decade, our vision is twofold, firstly to continue working with businesses that want to make real lasting change, and second, to continue contributing to worthwhile causes in and around our local community.
