Swindon Charities Join Forces to Aid Premature Babies in Ukraine

In a heartwarming display of community spirit, two Swindon-based charitable organisations have united to provide much-needed support to premature babies in Ukraine.

The combined effort between Tiny But Mighty Swindon and the Swindon Humanitarian Aid Partnership (SHAP) is nothing short of remarkable, with a staggering donation valued at approximately £170,000.

The generosity displayed is truly astonishing, with the donation consisting of brand-new premature baby clothes, all still in their original packaging. Chloe, representing Tiny But Mighty Swindon, made the donation, which includes around 65 boxes of clothing with a retail value of £50,000. And that’s not all – there are still an additional 3-4 pallets yet to be collected, setting a new record for SHAP.

This remarkable donation, specifically tailored for babies weighing between 2lb to 4lb, is intended for neonatal units and hospitals dealing with poorly and premature infants in Ukraine.

SHAP also wants to thank South West Pest Control for their invaluable assistance in storing the donated items ahead of their transportation to Ukraine.
