A Swindon care home is celebrating after being named among the best in the region for 2026.
Ridgeway Rise Care Home has been awarded a place in the Top 20 Care Homes in South West England by Carehome.co.uk, following consistently strong reviews from residents and their families over the past year.
The annual recognition is based on feedback published on the care review platform, which has recorded more than 119,000 reviews nationwide in the last 12 months alone. Homes are ranked according to review scores and feedback submitted by service users and relatives.
Ridgeway Rise competed against 1,808 care homes across the South West region to secure its place in the top 20. Within Swindon itself, where there are 57 registered care homes, it was ranked number one. No other home in the town received the regional Top 20 distinction this year.
Home Manager Bella Balaci said the award reflects the collective effort of staff and the contribution of residents and their families.

She added that the announcement provided an opportunity to acknowledge the work of the team.

Ridgeway Rise describes itself as an all-inclusive home designed to offer a broad range of facilities and services. Features include landscaped gardens, communal lounges, a cinema room and an on-site hair and beauty salon. Activities range from film screenings and afternoon tea gatherings to gardening sessions and quieter pursuits.
The award places the home among the highest-rated providers in the South West for 2026, based entirely on the experiences shared by those who live there and their families.
