Swindon-Based 360 Comps Aims To Build A Strong Community Brand With Local Winners

Charlotte from St John’s Marlborough has sat down with local businessman Andrew Careswell to discuss how 360 Comps is aiming to build something far bigger than just another online competition platform. With a strong focus on community partnerships, local winners and supporting Swindon businesses, the company is hoping to establish itself as a recognisable local brand that people across the town can genuinely connect with.

360 Comps is a Swindon-based competition company with a strong ambition to become a genuine local brand built around the community it serves. Based in Wood Street, the business is focused on creating more local partnerships, supporting other Swindon businesses, and most importantly, creating more local winners.

While many competition companies operate purely online, 360 Comps wants to take a different approach by becoming a visible and active part of the local community. The company believes people connect far more with competitions when they see real winners from their own town and recognise the businesses involved.

Despite being a relatively new business, 360 Comps has already awarded a range of major prizes to local winners, including cash, gold, technology products and even a BMW 2 Series M Sport. The team hopes these wins help demonstrate that genuine people really do win and that anyone can be next.

Competitions typically run for between two and four weeks, with all winners selected live on Facebook every Sunday evening using a Google Random Number Generator. This allows customers to see the draw happen in real time and see that all winners are chosen completely at random.

One of the company’s key commitments is that every competition always has a winner, regardless of how many tickets are sold. 360 Comps also follows the Voluntary Code of Good Practice for Prize Draw Operators.

Andrew Careswell said: “We want 360 Comps to become known as a real Swindon business that supports local people and works with other local businesses. The more local winners we create, the more people see that these competitions are genuine. Our aim is to build something fun, community-driven and visible and not just another anonymous online competition company.”

The business is already beginning to build those connections through partnerships with local brands including Route 66 and Swindon Town Football Club, with more collaborations planned over the coming months.

It is also a busy period for the company, with its latest headline competition featuring an Audi TT alongside a range of Instant Win prizes. This Saturday evening (23.05.26), the team will also be promoting the Audi TT on Wood Street, meeting local residents and giving away free pizza as part of their continued push to engage directly with the community.  360 Comps will also be at the Old Town Festival Street Party on Sunday 7th June offering exciting instant prizes to lucky winners.

360Comps also offers a local discount code — SWINDON10 — and more information can be found at www.360comps.co.uk
