Swindon Town FC have this afternoon confirmed the signing of Southampton goalkeeper Jack Bycroft on a permanent deal, pending EFL approval.
The 22-year-old Swindon Town fan, secured his first professional deal with the Saints back in 2018 after delivering standout performances for the club’s Under-18s.
Bycroft’s journey includes notable loan spells at Oxford City and Aldershot Town, but it was during his time with Taunton Town last season that he truly made his mark.
Making 48 appearances for the Peacocks, Bycroft showcased his goalkeeping prowess, keeping 19 clean sheets and earning a well-deserved spot in the Vanarama National League South team of the season.
Having also represented England at U19 level, the young goalkeeper is set to leverage his valuable experience and success as he vies for a prominent role as Town’s number one this season.
