Steam Museum Christmas Market returns this December

Following a successful event last year the Christmas market extravaganza will be returning to the Steam Museum in Rodbourne next month.

On December 3rd and 4th the museum will host around fifty market stalls offering a variety of goods from hand crafted silver jewellery, wooden toys, chutneys and luxury confectionery to Christmas tree decorations.

as live entertainment, and even Santa himself. You’ll be able to find a unique gift at one of their specially selected market stalls, all whilst wandering amongst the museums award-winning displays and Great Western Railway locomotives.

A spokesperson for the Steam Museum said: “Following last year’s sell-out event, we delighted to announce that our Christmas extravaganza will be returning this winter!

“Enjoy plenty of sparkles as you step into a wonderland of over 50 Christmas market stalls set amidst STEAM’s award-winning museum displays and iconic GWR locomotives.”

As well as live entertainment on both days, Santa will also be paying a visit with his Storytime sessions.

Children will enjoy a festive story, plus a wrapped gift in the Museum’s specially staged, Hawksworth Hall.

Tickets for Santa’s Storytime cost £8.00 per child, in addition to the event admission price.
