The South Swindon Parish Youth Club is actively seeking volunteers to assist with the operation of its current youth club, as well as to help establish a new one at Eastcott Community Centre.
The existing youth club is held every Tuesday from 5pm to 8.15pm at St John’s Church, Cavendish Square. Volunteers are needed to support activities, engage with young people, and ensure the club runs smoothly.
In addition to this, the parish is planning to open a new youth club at Eastcott Community Centre. This club is set to operate on Thursdays from 6pm to 7.30pm, with a projected start date either after the October half-term or in January 2025, depending on the support and resources available.
Local residents who are passionate about working with young people and have time to spare are encouraged to get involved. Volunteering at the youth club offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the community by helping to provide a safe and fun environment for the youth of Swindon.
