The aroma of freshly brewed coffee is poised to replace the scent of colourful stationery as yet another coffee brand sets its sights on opening up in Swindon Town Centre.
If a recent planning application gets the green light, which there is no reason for it not to, a new coffee experience is set to emerge, as Black Sheep Coffee prepares to step onto the stage, taking over the beloved spot once occupied by Smiggle in The Parade.
The Smiggle shop brought something different to Swindon Town Centre and was a beacon of youthful creativity and vibrant imagination with its walls adorned with an array of playful and innovative stationery.
As its doors close, it leaves behind a trail of colourful notebooks and quirky pens to be replaced with yet another option for Swindonians to take in the smell of freshly brewed coffee and the tempting scent of the chains’ popular Norwegian waffles.
Black Sheep Coffee may be a new name to Swindon however the company has been leaving its mark on the coffee landscape with nearly 100 branches scattered throughout the country.
Their proposal seeks advertising consent for a fresh look with new fascias and a projecting sign. If approved, these changes would mark the first visible steps toward welcoming Black Sheep Coffee to its new home.
