Old Town is set to be taken over by the magic of Take That this February, as Rule The World, the world’s leading Take That tribute act, will bring the iconic band’s greatest hits to life in an unforgettable evening of music. The concert, which promises to be an exciting night of feel-good tunes, will take place on Saturday, 22nd February 2025, at Christ Church, and it’s all for a fantastic cause.
This year’s concert isn’t just about reliving the joy of Take That’s most-loved songs – it’s also about supporting a key local resource. All proceeds from the evening will go towards Christ Church Swindon and its Community Centre, helping fund their vital services for the local area.
With tickets priced at just £16.50, the concert offers incredible value for an evening packed with Take That classics like Never Forget, Back For Good, Shine, and Relight My Fire. The tribute band, Rule The World, has earned global recognition for their remarkable performances, with praise from celebrities such as Denise Van Outen, Jason Orange’s family, and even Take That’s own Gary Barlow, who described them as “brilliant” and noted that “they sound like me!”
Rule The World has performed all over the world, from private parties for Coldplay to major European festivals and even gracing BBC1’s The Graham Norton Show. Their attention to detail and high-energy shows capture the essence of Take That’s legendary live concerts, making this a night not to be missed.
Chris Smith, the Event Coordinator, shared his enthusiasm: “This concert is more than just a night of fantastic music. It’s a chance to bring some joy into the winter months while supporting the community. Every ticket sold helps keep Christ Church and the Community Centre thriving and offering the support that so many depend on.”
