Fans of the Royal Air Force’s renowned aerobatic team are in for a treat, as the iconic Red Arrows will grace the skies over selected Swindon, Wiltshire, and South Gloucestershire today and tomorrow.
There is a brief chance to spot them this afternoon (Friday) at around 4.05pm in the South Swindon area as they make their way to Exeter after completing a flypast in Colchester.
Tomorrow will then see the Red Arrows make their way from Exeter to the Rhyl Air Show in Wales with a flight path that might just bring them into view of Swindon residents as they make their way North from Calne up towards Cirencester.
As per Military Airshows, the Red Arrows are expected to take off from Exeter at 1.12pm on Saturday, embarking on a journey that will see them pass over Devon, Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire, heading over the picturesque Cotswold Water Park at around 1.29pm.
The Red Arrows, distinguished by their striking red aircraft and the signature red, white, and blue vapour trails, constitute an aerobatic display team composed of skilled RAF pilots. Their Hawk T1A planes are expertly piloted in impeccable formation, often leaving the sky adorned with stunning vapour trail shapes.

The next opportunity to see the Red Arrows over Swindon is expected to be next weekend as they take part in the Bournemouth Air Show from Thursday, August 31st to Sunday 3rd September.
