Police are appealing for a potential key witness to come forward following a collision involving a teenager and a motorcycle on Havisham Drive, Swindon.
The incident occurred at approximately 7pm on Sunday, 31st March, when a 15-year-old boy was struck by a black Chopper-style motorcycle, leaving him with minor injuries. The rider, believed to be a man in his mid-40s, was wearing a black helmet and is described as having a greying beard.
Crucially, officers believe a woman walking with a black dog was nearby at the time and may have witnessed the event. Authorities are urging this individual, or anyone who may know her, to make contact as she could hold vital information.
The motorcyclist failed to stop at the scene, and police are treating this as a fail to stop road traffic collision. Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have relevant CCTV or dash cam footage from the area at the time.
