Wiltshire Police has started an investigation following a series of concerning incidents in which a man allegedly approached female pupils outside schools in Swindon.
Reports suggest that the man, who is not known to the girls involved, attempted to engage them in conversation, prompting immediate concerns from the youngsters. There is no suggestion that the children were physically harmed.
Inspector Stefan Telford of Wiltshire Police acknowledges the potential impact on the local community and assures that they are actively pursuing leads to ensure the safety of all involved also stating that the incidents appear to be linked to one individual.
Wiltshire Police encourages individuals who may have witnessed or experienced similar incidents to come forward.
