Police Officers are investigating a burglary which occurred at an address in West Swindon on the same evening the fireworks were taking place at nearby Lydiard Park.
Between approximately 9pm and 10pm on November 4th, a house in Spencer Close, The Prinnels, was broken into.
A window was smashed by the offenders during the burglary. It is not known whether anything was stolen but several rooms were ransacked. Enquiries are ongoing.
Due to the fireworks event at the park there would have been a lot of people in the area who may have seen something suspicious.
Police are urging anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area at the time to get in touch.
