Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Ruxley Close, Royal Wootton Bassett yesterday at around 4pm.
A 15-year-old boy has suffered stab wounds, not thought to be life threatening and was taken to hospital for treatment, where he remains.
Four teenage boys have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
A 23-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
They remain in police custody.
Officers are currently carrying out enquiries in the area and people living locally are likely to notice an increased police presence.
