Police are appealing for witnesses following a brazen aggravated burglary in Okebourne Park, Liden, which occurred Friday afternoon.
The incident took place around 12:30 pm, when four men reportedly entered a residential property, threatened the occupants, and fled with a substantial quantity of jewellery.
The burglars are believed to have left the scene in a dark-coloured vehicle, and investigators are eager to trace its movements. Police are urging anyone who may have been in the Okebourne Park or Liden Drive areas between 11:45 am and 12:45 pm to come forward, particularly those who may have dash cam footage from the time of the incident.
Detectives are hoping that such footage could provide crucial information about the suspects or the vehicle in question. A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We are especially keen to hear from anyone who may have spotted any suspicious activity in the area around the time of the burglary. Even seemingly small details could assist us in our investigation.”
Residents in the Liden area are reminded to remain vigilant and report any unusual behaviour to the police as they continue their investigations.
