Parents and carers are invited to attend open mornings at Highworth Warneford School on Tuesday 15th, Wednesday 16th, and Thursday 17th October. Each session runs from 9:10 to 10:10 am, offering an opportunity to explore what the school has to offer for prospective students.
With its reputation as a small but high-achieving school, Highworth Warneford prides itself on its ability to support pupils individually. With a maximum of 150 students per year group, the school fosters an inclusive atmosphere where both academic and personal development are equally prioritised.
Miss Sophie Hesten, the new Principal at Highworth Warneford, expressed her enthusiasm for welcoming prospective families: “We’re really excited to invite parents and pupils to our open mornings. It’s a chance for people to see the school in action, meet our staff, and discover more about our approach to education. Our open evening last month was very well attended, and it’s wonderful to offer these additional opportunities for families to come and see what makes Highworth Warneford special.”
The open mornings will provide an opportunity to meet teaching staff, explore the facilities, and learn about the school’s focus on academic excellence, as well as the range of extracurricular activities available. Parents interested in attending are encouraged to book a place by emailing: LewisL@warnefordschool.org.uk.
Miss Hesten, who stepped into her role as Principal at the start of this academic year, previously served as Vice Principal at Lydiard Park School in Swindon. Both schools are part of The Park Academies Trust (TPAT), and Miss Hesten brings a wealth of experience in fostering inclusive, student-focused environments.
