Around sixty vulnerable and isolating Swindonians received Christmas presents this year, thanks to the generosity of Nationwide Building Society staff.
The Christmas gifts were donated by the Finance and Efficiency Team at the Swindon Building Society and were donated to residents via the Swindon Borough Council Live Well team.
A spokesperson for the council said “After being safely quarantined, the parcels have now been delivered to our most vulnerable and isolated residents, to brighten up their Christmas.”
The festive parcels contained biscuits, chocolates, Christmas puddings, warm socks, hand creams, puzzle books and mugs.
