MPs vote AGAINST second Brexit referendum

MPs have this evening voted against holding a second referendum on Brexit.

A proposal by the Independent Group to demand a new public vote on Brexit has failed after Labour the official People’s Vote supporters deserted the move.

The bid for a second referendum was crushed 334 to 85 in a blow to the hopes of campaigners who want a new vote.
