A motorcyclist has died following a collision involving a car and motorcycle in Chiseldon.
Wiltshire Police were called to the junction of Draycott Road and The Ridgeway at around 4.05pm on Tuesday, 11 August, following a collision between a Triumph Scrambler and a black Volvo V60.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and officers said their thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.
The driver of the Volvo, a 24-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of drug driving, causing death by careless driving while under the influence and possession of an offensive weapon.
He remains in custody while enquiries continue.
The junction remains closed while officers carry out their investigation.
Wiltshire Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have captured the incident on dashcam, to come forward.
