Boris Johnson will be addressing the nation at 8pm this evening in a broadcast from Downing Street where he is due to set out further restrictions to try and help curb the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
However he may have been beaten to confirming the long rumoured measures.
Michael Gove has this morning confirmed to Kay Burley in an interview on Sky News the government’s decision that pubs and restaurants will have to close at 10pm.
The Long talked about curfew will start from 10pm on Thursday.
Mr Gove also added there will be a “shift in emphasis” in asking people to return working from home if they can.
It is also expected that there will be a ‘ban on socialising’ announced where no two households will be able to mix and also one step further the possibility of a two week lockdown.
