A 70-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after police were to a property in Standen Way, Blunsdon St Andrew.
At around 2.30am this morning police arrived and found the body of a woman in her 40’s.
Her death is currently being treated as unexplained.
The man in currently in custody.
A police spokesperson said ‘People living locally will see an increased police presence throughout the day and we want to provide reassurance that there is no risk to the wider public.’
