Grant Walker, 32, of Faringdon Road, appeared in Bristol Crown Court yesterday to face charges related to the murder of Terry Ricketts, 53 from Rodbourne.
Walker pleaded not guilty to the offence and has been remanded into custody.
The incident occurred on February 25th, when Ricketts was fatally injured during a serious assault in Westbourne Court.
A trial date has been set for August 12th, where the case will be further examined and evidence presented.
