Rooney Gardi, 22, of Calne Road, Lyneham, has been charged with rape following the incident which occurred in the Dammas Lane car park during the early hours of June 30th.
He has been remanded in custody and appeared at Swindon Magistrates Court on Saturday 5th July.
He has since been remanded until his next court appearance which will be a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing on August 2nd at Swindon Crown Court.
