A man has been charged following his arrest at Chiseldon Service Station in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Lee Turner, 32, of Manton Street, Rodbourne, has been charged with driving whilst disqualified and possession of a bladed article.
He’s been remanded in custody to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court today.
Local crime investigator Corinne White said: “This arrest and subsequent charges were a really good outcome and evidences strong working relationships between Swindon response officers and Roads Policing Unit.”
