A 46-year-old man has been charged following a stabbing in Park North, Swindon.
Marcelino Pacheco, of Radnor Street, Kingshill, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, kidnap, possessing a knife or bladed article in a public place and breach of a restraining order.
The charges follow an incident in Dulverton Avenue on Thursday, 3 September, in which a woman in her 30s suffered a stab wound to her shoulder.
Her injuries are not thought to be life-changing.
Pacheco has been remanded in custody and appeared before Swindon Magistrates’ Court on 5 September
The charges are allegations and Pacheco has not been convicted of the offences.
