Stratton Juniors Football Club is excited to announce that they have been accepted to be part of the Weetabix Wildcats programme by the Football Association.
The programme aims to encourage more young girls to participate in football and develop their skills in a fun and supportive environment.
The Weetabix Wildcats programme is a nationwide initiative that provides opportunities for girls aged 5-11 to get involved in football and enjoy the game. The programme is delivered by FA qualified coaches and provides a safe and inclusive environment for girls to learn and play.
Stratton Juniors FC is a local club that has been providing opportunities for young boys and girls to play football for over 30 years.
The club is dedicated to promoting the benefits of sport to young people and is thrilled to be part of this exciting initiative.
Speaking about the announcement, club director Neil Lee said, “We are delighted to have been chosen to be part of the Weetabix Wildcats programme. This is a fantastic initiative that is helping to break down barriers and encourage more girls to get involved in football and develop their skills in a fun and supportive environment.
