Former Chelsea and Derby assistant manager Jody Morris has finally been confirmed as the new head coach of Swindon Town on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
Morris, 44, worked alongside Frank Lampard at the both Chelsea and Derby County, replaces Scott Lindsey who left the club earlier this month becoming manager of struggling League two side Crawley Town.
Gavin Gunning and Steve Mildenhall, who have overseen the games since Lindsey’s departure will remain with the club as part of Jody Morris’s coaching setup.
