Jamaican patties sold throughout Swindon in Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s have been urgently recalled as it emerges use by date is not clearly printed.
The Island Delight Jerk Chicken Jamaican Crust Pattie and Lamb Jamaican Crust Pattie do not have the use by date clearly marked on the packaging.
The date 26/03/2017 is printed on the packaging but it does not have “use by” written in front of it.
Consumers have been warned not to eat patties with this date on them.
The products affected are 140g packs with the barcodes 05029266050074 or 05029266000055.
