In collaboration with world-renowned Devizes auctioneers Henry Aldridge & Son, where Paul serves as Head of Valuations, the event will run from 10 am to 3 pm. The valuation day aims to encourage locals to unveil the hidden treasures within their homes, spanning antiques, collectables, silver, gold, militaria, and jewelry.

Expressing his fondness for Royal Wootton Bassett, Paul said, “It’s a lovely town and has such a strong sense of community, it always feels like a really welcoming place. It’s been the setting for Antiques Road Trip a few times, and I’m looking forward to being back in the town.”

Paul, with over 20 years of experience as a TV presenter on shows like Antiques Road Trip, Flog It!, and Countryfile, brings a genuine passion for antiques to the heart of the community. His new series, Paul Martin’s Auction Showdown, is set to debut on Channel 5 this year.

While Paul enjoys his broadcast career, he remains an antiques enthusiast at heart. Valuation days provide him with an opportunity to connect with people, their objects, and the captivating stories they tell. The event is part of a series of valuation days organized by Paul in his role at Henry Aldridge & Son.

“Wiltshire is such a great part of the country to host these kinds of days,” Paul remarked. “There is so much history here, and the people are really generous with their time and curiosity, so I’m sure we’ll see some fascinating items and learn lots from the stories attached to them.”

Following the Royal Wootton Bassett event, Paul’s valuation days will continue across Wiltshire, including a stop at the STEAM Museum in Swindon on Monday, February 19th, from 10 am to 3 pm. The full schedule and additional information can be found on the Henry Aldridge & Son website.
