The family of a woman who died following a collision on the A419 have described her as an “amazing wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend”.
Sarah Jayne Crook, 38, died after a collision involving her Toyota Aygo and a Vauxhall Vivaro van on the A419 near the White Hart Roundabout on Friday morning.
Wiltshire Police confirmed her identity over the weekend and released a statement on behalf of her family, who have been overwhelmed by the response from friends, relatives and members of the wider community.
In a heartfelt tribute, her loved ones spoke of the devastating loss they have suffered following the tragedy.
They said: “On Friday 5th June, we lost an amazing wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend, Sarah Jayne Crook, to a tragic collision.
“We’ve been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and respect for her and the support for ourselves.
“We would like to say thank you to the hundreds of people who have sent condolences and memories of her.”
The family also asked for privacy as they come to terms with their loss.
“Please respect the family’s privacy at this time,” the statement continued.
“Funeral details will be released when known.”
