Dominos treat Swindon care home staff as part of the ‘Pizza for Heroes’ giveaway

Staff at Swindon Borough Council run Fessey House care home have taken delivery of free pizza thank to the local Domino’s, who have kindly delivered free pizza as part of the chains ‘Pizza for Heroes’ giveaway launched in April – to show their appreciation of key workers keeping the UK going.

Since 16th April, Domino’s have been donating £1million of free pizza each week to Government recognised key workers up and down the country. From emergency services, to social care crews, to postal delivery workers, to chemists and more; Domino’s drivers will be making surprise visits to give our everyday heroes a small token of appreciation, as they work hard to ensure people are safe, parcels are delivered and our most vulnerable are cared for.

Dominic Paul, Domino’s CEO designate, said: “At Domino’s, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to all the key workers heroes working tirelessly to keep Britain going during these unprecedented times. We take the responsibility of being open at this challenging time seriously.  We may not be saving lives, but we’re proud to play a small part in the national effort by feeding our communities and helping the nation stay safe at home.”
