Christmas is the season of togetherness, warmth, and community spirit, and there is no better way to ring in this magical time than with Julia’s House Christmas Carols evening at Christ Church.
Building on the overwhelming success of last year’s gathering, organisers anticipate high demand for tickets. Those who attend on on Wednesday 11th December can look forward to an enchanting evening filled with traditional carols, readings shared by Julia’s House families and staff, and a performance from the Swindon Rock Choir – known for their electric energy and delightful harmonies.
Guests will be treated to mince pies and warming mulled wine, enhancing the festive cheer as they join together to support a truly worthy cause. Every penny raised will go towards Julia’s House Children’s Hospice, a vital lifeline for families caring for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions across Wiltshire and Dorset.
Julia’s House delivers compassionate, specialist care both at home and at their vibrant hospices in Devizes and Corfe Mullen. The charity’s nurses and carers work tirelessly to support every member of the family, offering a blend of professional and heartfelt care completely free of charge, thanks to generous donations and the kindness of local fundraisers.
Claudia Hazelton, Fundraiser for Julia’s House, expressed her enthusiasm: “We’re thrilled to be hosting our Christmas Carols evening again in Swindon, and Christ Church offers a truly magnificent setting. We are excited to celebrate the season with our community, singing timeless carols and enjoying wonderful performances from our local choirs. Your support will make an incredible difference to families in need.”
This year’s event has been made possible through the kind sponsorship of Catalent, a leading global partner to pharmaceutical, biotech, and consumer health industries, reflecting their commitment to community well-being.
