Royal Wootton Bassett Academy’s Sixth Form is celebrating the expansion of its Legacy Garden, a project spearheaded by the Class of 2023.
This green oasis, nestled in the heart of the sixth form area, has undergone significant enhancements under the dedicated efforts of the students.

The recent addition of a picnic bench and carefully laid gravel has transformed the area into a welcoming space, now ready for students to utilise. The diligent work of the students in preparing the garden sets the stage for a vibrant display come spring. With the onset of brighter weather, the garden will burst into a kaleidoscope of colours, courtesy of an array of carefully chosen flowers.
Katharine Salmon, the Head of RWBA Sixth Form, expressed her appreciation for the students’ hard work in creating the Legacy Garden, saying “The students have worked incredibly hard in creating the legacy garden, it is a great place for our current and future students to socialise and enjoy the outdoors during their down time. I look forward to spring when the flowers will have bloomed, and sixth formers will be able to make the most of it.”
As the Legacy Garden continues to evolve, it promises to be a testament to the dedication and creativity of Royal Wootton Bassett Academy’s Sixth Form students.
