Barratt Homes has proudly announced that its team has raised an impressive £28,000 for the Stroke Association, their outgoing charity of the year.
Over the course of 12 months, staff from the homebuilder organised and participated in a variety of fundraising initiatives, from 10k runs and quiz nights to furniture sales and carol singing.

The efforts of the Barratt team have not only raised substantial funds but have also provided opportunities for staff members to volunteer and connect with the Stroke Association. By sitting down with key representatives, the team learned about stroke prevention, early diagnosis, and the vital role of carers, deepening their understanding of the charity’s work and its impact on local communities.
Sales Director Andrea Pilgrim commented on the initiative, saying, “It’s been such a wonderful experience working with the Stroke Association. Our team always strives to make a difference, but this year has enriched us in ways we didn’t expect. Understanding the profound effect stroke has on people’s lives has made this experience even more meaningful.”
Looking ahead, Barratt Homes has already begun supporting their new charity partner for the coming year, The Harbour. This smaller, local charity offers support to those facing terminal illness and grief. The team has wasted no time, raising £6,000 through a recent charity golf day. Barratt Homes encourages other charities to reach out to their charity committee if they are interested in future collaborations.
