Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Foundation Park.
At around 4.15 pm on Sunday a group of friends had been in the park, when they were approached by four others on electric bikes, wearing balaclavas.
PC Leo Koca said: “The second group blocked off the exits to the park so that they couldn’t leave, before approaching one of the teenagers and demanded he give them his bike. When he refused he was grabbed by the throat and threatened with a knife.
“Although no knife was actually seen, this was taken seriously enough that the bike was handed over.
“We believe the group headed off in the Octal Way or County Road direction.
“If you saw what happened, have a dash cam or CCTV of what happened, or have information that could help with our enquiries please contact us on 101 quoting crime reference number 54230106777.”
