Appeal for Witnesses: Disturbance in Swindon Leaves Victims Shaken

Police are urgently seeking the assistance of the public in an investigation following a disturbing incident in Swindon.

A teenager and his auntie were subjected to a harrowing ordeal when an unknown man followed and threatened them between 9.30am and 9.45am on Monday 10th July.

According to the victims, the incident unfolded as they walked through the Drove Road area, proceeding down Hunt Street and up Belle View Road. The unidentified man relentlessly pursued them, shouting intimidating remarks and making alarming threats.

The situation escalated when he reached into his pocket, indicating that he possessed an object he could potentially use against them.

Recognising the danger they were in, the victims sought refuge by seeking help from nearby builders working on a property. Thankfully, their presence deterred the suspect, who eventually leftthe scene.

Understandably, both the teenager and his auntie have been left deeply shaken and upset by the experience.

The suspect is described as a slim-built white man, aged between 20 and 25 years old, approximately 5ft 7ins tall. He was last seen wearing a distinctive multi-coloured tracksuit, a black cap, and black trainers, while carrying a phone.
